Welcome to The Nature of Mosaica, here you will find original, one-of-a-kind mosaic designs. My name is Gretchen McPherson. I am a member of the Cape Cod Society of Craftsmen and the Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA).
The world of mosaics has opened up a very exciting chapter in my design career. With each new mosaic art project, I bring together the best possible choices from an endless variety of tesserae; integrating stones and shells from local Cape Cod beaches with the traditional mosaic materials, glass smalti and millefiori.
As my business name suggests, I enjoy creating designs that reflect the beauty of our natural world. I feel that it is important to celebrate our planet's natural wonders through art.
